In an exciting development for the renewable energy sector, GW Power-Safe is proud to announce we’ve been selected to be appointed to the prestigious Crown Commercial Service “Demand Management & Renewables Framework.” This significant achievement presents us with a unique opportunity to contribute to the UK’s transition towards a low-carbon economy. With an estimated value of £800 million over the next five years, this framework solidifies our position as a leading provider of high-quality, renewable energy solutions. 

Crown Commercial Service (CCS) supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services.

In 2019/20, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits worth over £1bn – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.

GW Power-Safe can now extend its services to UK Public Sector Bodies and Central Government Departments. This route to market is a significant step forward, allowing us to collaborate with governmental entities in implementing sustainable and eco-friendly solutions. By being selected for various lots within the framework, we’re well-positioned to make a substantial impact on the renewable energy landscape. 

We’re excited to contribute our expertise and solutions to help generate more sustainable practises within government projects.

We have extensive experience in large-scale solar installations and this opportunity will allow us to collaborate with public sector clients on significant solar projects.

Lot 2.1: Battery Energy Storage – Projects £0 – £1m

Lot 2.2: Battery Energy Storage – Projects £1m and above

Our aim is to help public sector clients optimise their energy usage. Battery energy storage plays an important role in this by maximising the potential of renewable energy storage through storing excess energy and releasing it when needed. Our experience will help reduce reliance on traditional power sources. 

Lot 3.1: Heat Pumps – Projects £0 – £1m

Lot 3.2: Heat Pumps – Projects £1m and above

Our implementation of commercial-level heat pump solutions will reduce environmental impact by providing efficient heating and cooling. We’ll be able to make a substantial contribution to the UK’s transition to low carbon economy.

Lot 4.2: Heat Networks – Heat Network Design & Build

Heat networks can be used to maximise efficiency and minimise carbon emissions. By utilising innovative design approaches, we aim to create sustainable heat networks that meet the unique requirements of each project.
